Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing services in Florida and Utah. I received my Masters from the University of Central Florida and have been practicing for 15 years. I'm bilingual English- Spanish, I'm EMDR and Hypnotherapy trained. I enjoy helping adults who may be struggling with the aftermath of trauma or with the challenges of adapting during life transitions. My goal is to assist you to become your best version.
I love working with adults 18+ who are in need of support coping with difficult times, maybe a trauma from the past, someone who wants to change but doesn't know how to, someone who perhaps just need to feel seen and heard, or someone who left their home country to seek the American dream. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, and defeated.
During the first session, we will get to know each other and you will learn about my therapy style, confidentiality, and what to expect from me. I will briefly explain how the therapeutic process works. We will dive into the specific challenges you're facing and identify some of your goals. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions while providing a safe space for healing.
