Great to meet you!
Trauma does not define you – it shapes your story, and together, we can work to heal, grow, and move forward with resilience and strengths.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), bilingual in English and Spanish, licensed since 2017. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in Miami, FL. My professional journey spans over 15 years, including adults experiencing trauma related issues, PTSD, court related cases, seven years in foster care, working directly with children and teens, as well as experience in shelters supporting people through challenging circumstances. Prior to my work in the U.S., I earned my bachelor’s degree in Cuba and practiced as a psychotherapist for eight years.
My passion lies in helping individuals cultivate self-awareness, build coping skills, and develop resilience. I have spent five years as a Case Manager in a shelter environment, which provided me with a deep understanding of navigating complex emotional and social challenges.
In therapy, I guide clients to process emotions related to trauma, enhance self-worth, and strengthen personal growth. I approach each session with compassion, evidence-based strategies, and a commitment to empowering you to become the best version of yourself.
Taking the step to engage in therapy is an investment in your well-being. Together, we can work through difficult experiences, develop practical tools, and create a path toward healing, self-love, and personal growth. Your journey matters, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
