Great to meet you!

  • Empowering individuals and families to break generational cycles, heal from complex trauma, and confidently navigate life's toughest transitions.

I am a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. My career is dedicated to supporting individuals navigating life’s most vulnerable, chaotic moments with a deeply grounded, non-judgmental, and trauma-informed approach.

My background spans crisis intervention, community leadership, and family advocacy. I have specialized experience with youth and young adults, including aged-out foster youth, justice-involved young adults, and teens navigating severe crisis, self-harm, or substance use. I also specialize in family reunification and breaking generational cycles of abuse, having worked closely with child welfare and served as an international speaker on child abuse prevention and women's empowerment for DIF in Tijuana, Mexico. Additionally, I provide individual and group therapy for court-mandated domestic violence offenders, addressing accountability and toxic masculinity.

Whether you are a young adult rewriting your future, a parent fighting for your family's healing, or an individual ready to break old cycles, I provide a compassionate, safe, and culturally responsive space to guide you forward. Sana tus heridas en tu propio idioma.

My approach to therapy

I believe that healing begins by meeting you exactly where you are today. My therapeutic style is warm, deeply collaborative, and entirely free of judgment. I recognize that your identity is shaped by a unique blend of culture, ethnicity, generation, and individual life experiences. Because of this, I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all model. I tailor our work entirely to your personal goals, pacing, and readiness for change.

My practice is anchored in the core pillars of Trauma-Informed Care, prioritizing your safety, trust, empowerment, and choice at every step of the therapeutic process.

To support your unique journey, I pull from a diverse toolkit of evidence-based modalities, selecting and blending techniques based on what serves you best in the moment.

Together, we will honor your past, navigate your present challenges, and build practical tools that respect who you are and where you want to go.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply a warm, quiet space to connect. There is no pressure, no performance, and no clinical interrogation. We will just talk about what brought you here and how you are feeling right now.

  • I deeply believe that healing looks completely different for everyone, and progress is rarely a straight line. There will be good days and heavy days, and that is entirely okay.

Coming to therapy takes immense bravery. Brené Brown reminds us that 'Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren't always comfortable, but they're never weakness.'

Because of that, please know that you don't have to put on a brave face here. Sitting with pain, intense feelings, numbness, confusion, or deep loneliness may show up right in our very first session. Whatever comes up, you do not have to carry it alone. I will be right there with you every single step of the way.

You do not need to have your thoughts perfectly organized or know exactly what to say. Just show up as you are, and we will move completely at a pace that feels secure to you.
