Great to meet you!

Change often starts with understanding what’s underneath the patterns that keep repeating. Anxiety, depression, substance use, family stress, trauma, or living with a chronic health condition can affect far more than one part of your life. My role is to help you make sense of what’s happening and find a realistic path forward.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I work with adults from a variety of backgrounds and bring warmth, compassion, and practical support into our sessions. Together, we’ll identify what’s keeping you stuck, recognize the strengths you already have, and develop healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges. My goal is for therapy to help you feel more confident, resilient, and capable of creating meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I don’t believe the same approach works for everyone. I want to understand your experiences, what’s been working, what hasn’t, and what you ultimately want to be different. From there, we’ll work together to identify patterns, build on your strengths, and develop strategies that make sense for your everyday life.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and honest. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, choices, and behaviors. We’ll focus not only on gaining insight, but on turning that insight into practical changes you can carry with you outside of therapy.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a relaxed conversation about what brought you here, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’d like to change. You’ll also have space to ask questions and decide whether working together feels like the right fit.

You can expect me to listen without judgment while also helping you move toward meaningful change. We’ll set realistic goals, recognize progress along the way, and develop practical tools for navigating challenges with greater confidence. My hope is that therapy leaves you feeling not only supported, but more equipped to handle what comes next.
