Great to meet you!

Hello all, I am a Licensed Clinician Social Worker who is passionate about what I do. I have been in the field, in different capacities, for over 20 years. I have worked with various populations and have a diverse background includes clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, have a history of trauma, struggle with poor self-esteem and interpersonal challenges. I am a big advocate on clients being themselves in sessions and helping each person understand that their voice/narrative matters.

My approach to therapy

My approach is CBT centered with a focus on developing strengths, strategies and motivation. It starts with improving negative thought patterns, finding the person you are, and empowering you to find your voice. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing environment, though I also encourage courageous conversations as well.

What you can expect from me

My clients are typically are amazed at the outcome of their sessions. I have been described as genuine, empowering and a great listener. Mostly, clients tell me they feel like they have chatted with a friend but realize there has been growth in the conversation. That is the way it should be. So.... come meet me for coffee!
