Great to meet you!

My work sits at the intersection of physical and mental health — an area that often goes underserved. When you're managing a chronic illness, caring for someone at the end of life, processing a loss, or carrying the kind of stress that affects your body as much as your mind, ordinary therapy doesn't always feel like enough.

I specialize in grief, end-of-life concerns, chronic conditions, physical health stress, anxiety, and depression. I believe that healing is possible even in the hardest seasons — and that you deserve a therapist who takes the full picture of your life seriously, not just the symptoms.

I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LISW-CP) trained at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, practicing via telehealth across South Carolina under My Soul Therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is built on three things: understanding how your thoughts and feelings connect to your physical experience, building practical skills that work in your real life, and meeting you exactly where you are.

I use CBT to address the thought patterns that drive anxiety and depression, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy to help you develop awareness and regulation — especially valuable when stress is affecting you physically. Motivational Interviewing guides me when you're navigating ambivalence about change, and a Strength-Based lens means I start from what's already working in you, not just what needs fixing.

Grief and end-of-life work are handled with particular care — these are sacred spaces, and I don't rush them.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation, not an assessment. I'll ask what's brought you here, what you've been carrying, and what you're hoping feels different on the other side of this work.

There's no pressure to have everything figured out. We'll start building a picture of who you are and what you need — and by the end, you'll have a clearer sense of what working together looks like.
