Great to meet you!

Empathetic, Community-Focused Mental Health Care from the Comfort of Home.

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health support to my community. My mission is to bridge the gap in healthcare access by offering high-quality telehealth services that meet you exactly where you are.

With a background rooted in the "whole-person" nursing philosophy, I believe that mental wellness is more than just the absence of symptoms—it is about achieving a balanced and fulfilling life. Whether you are navigating a difficult season of life or managing a chronic condition, I am here to listen, support, and collaborate with you on a personalized path to wellness.

My approach to therapy

I believe that mental health care is a partnership, not a hierarchy. My approach is rooted in the nursing philosophy of holistic care, which means I don’t just treat a diagnosis—I treat a person.

In a telehealth environment, I strive to bridge the digital gap by being intentionally present, authentic, and attentive. Here is the framework I use to guide every patient interaction:

What you can expect from me

Your First Session: What to Expect

Your first appointment—the Initial Psychiatric Evaluation—is all about getting to know the "whole you." It typically lasts about 60 minutes and is designed to be a collaborative conversation in a safe, judgment-free space.

1. A Comprehensive Conversation

We’ll dive into more than just your current symptoms. To build a complete picture of your health, we will discuss:

  • Your History: Both your personal mental health journey and your family’s medical history.
  • Your Lifestyle: Sleep habits, nutrition, stress levels, and support systems.
  • Your Goals: What does "feeling better" actually look like to you? Are you looking for symptom relief, better focus at work, or more emotional stability in your relationships?

2. Diagnostic Clarity

By the end of the session, my goal is to provide you with a clear clinical perspective. I’ll explain any potential diagnoses and the "why" behind what you’ve been feeling. Understanding the root of the issue is the first step toward healing.

3. Building Your Roadmap

We will finish by creating a personalized treatment plan. This is a collaborative effort where we might discuss:

  • Whether medication is a helpful option for you.
  • Recommendations for specific types of psychotherapy.
  • Lifestyle adjustments (like sleep hygiene or mindfulness) that can make an immediate impact.

4. A Focus on Comfort

Because we are meeting via telehealth, I prioritize making the digital experience feel as personal as an in-office visit. You should be in a private, comfortable space where you feel free to speak openly. There is no "wrong" way to show up—just come as you are.
