Great to meet you!

Therapy has the potential to be a transformative experience. I have found people realize the benefit of therapy when they learn how to communicate and advocate for themselves compassionately, practice setting better boundaries, love themselves and others more fully, start to listen to their feelings as teachers and compasses pointing to important lessons, and when they begin to trust themselves as they are, to live authentically and unapologetically. Therapy with me is informed by Social Justice, Allyship, Anti-Racism and is Affirming of all Identities, including, Neurodivergent, Sexual, and Gender.

My approach to therapy

I have found that people are looking for a trained 3rd party to offer an informed perspective as opposed to nodding and listening unreflectively. My style is very engaged and proactive, offering feedback that can help you navigate your life. I am truly a companion to my clients with a wealth of wisdom and insight to offer.

For me, therapy is philosophical, anthropological and creative. It’s about exploring big questions about the human condition; Who am I? What does it mean to live a meaningful life? Why do we suffer? Being curious about the stories we tell ourselves. It’s also creative, because there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Therapy isn’t about plugging people into pre-made solutions; it’s about collaborating to find new ways of thinking, feeling, and being in the world.

What you can expect from me

I am a strong advocate for the power of the therapeutic relationship and holding clients in a non judgmental field of positive and warm regard. Would love to discuss what brings you to therapy at this time!
