Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Yonne — a Licensed Professional Counselor, doula, and holistic practitioner with over 7 years of clinical experience. I believe that healing begins with slowing down, listening inward, and reconnecting with what’s already within you. I’m passionate about helping people rediscover their strength, release what no longer serves them, and create space for emotional and spiritual growth.

My path into this work has been shaped by both professional training and lived experience. Over the years, I’ve learned that true healing doesn’t happen in isolation — it happens in the presence of safety, compassion, and acceptance. My intention is to offer a space that feels grounding, nurturing, and real — a place where you can exhale, show up as your full self, and begin to move toward the peace, clarity, and connection you’ve been seeking.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in working with individuals who are moving through anxiety, trauma, identity shifts, and life transitions — along with those navigating the tender experiences of fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed or emotionally drained, and our time together becomes a chance to reconnect with your own rhythm, soften self-judgment, and rebuild a sense of purpose and trust in your process.

My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-Based practices with holistic tools like grounding techniques, breathwork, and somatic awareness. In our sessions, you can expect a balance of reflection, curiosity, and skill-building — all rooted in compassion and cultural understanding.

What you can expect from me

My sessions are collaborative and organic. I draw from approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to bring awareness to thought patterns, Mindfulness-Based Therapy to anchor presence, and Somatic techniques to help the body release what the mind has been holding. Each session is tailored to your rhythm and needs — whether that means talking through emotions, learning grounding tools, or finding stillness in the moment.

As both a therapist and a doula, I view healing through the lens of the whole person — mind, body, and spirit. I’m especially passionate about supporting Black and Brown women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and anyone seeking a space that honors both emotional and cultural wholeness.

If you’re looking for a therapist who brings authenticity, intuition, and grounded care to the process, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
