Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical mental health counselor who takes a compassionate, practical, and values-based approach to therapy. My work is grounded in evidence-based practices, particularly Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and emotion-focused strategies. I help clients build emotional flexibility, clarity, and skills they can use in daily life, not by trying to “fix” them, but by helping them reconnect with what matters most.

I work with adolescents, adults, and parents experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, identity questions, and family or parenting challenges. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed or stuck despite being capable and motivated. In therapy, we slow things down, explore unhelpful patterns, and develop tools that support meaningful, sustainable change.

My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I aim to create a space where clients can be honest and human while also feeling supported in moving forward with intention and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is values-based, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) alongside emotion-focused and skills-based strategies to help clients build emotional flexibility, self-understanding, and resilience. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult thoughts or feelings, we work on changing how you relate to them so they have less power over your life.

I focus on helping clients clarify what matters most to them and take meaningful steps toward those values, even during challenging moments. Sessions are practical and reflective, balancing insight with tools that can be used outside the therapy room. My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel understood while also being gently challenged to grow in ways that feel authentic and sustainable

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, relevant history, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. This is also a chance for you to ask questions and get a feel for my style to see if it’s a good fit.

You can expect a supportive, low-pressure conversation rather than a deep dive right away. We’ll begin identifying goals and talking about what a helpful path forward might look like, at a pace that feels comfortable. My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and a bit clearer about next steps.
