Great to meet you!
I’m Yu Enomoto, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 18 years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people through many of life’s difficult and challenging moments. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, cultural challenges, and life transitions.
I understand that reaching out for support can be difficult, especially when you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. My goal is to provide a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable talking openly about what you’re going through. Together, we can make sense of what’s been difficult and work toward meaningful changes that help you move forward.
I’m also mindful of the role culture and identity can play in our lives. With my own cross-cultural experience, I bring a culturally sensitive perspective to my work. I work with clients who are adjusting to a different culture, balancing different cultural or family expectations, exploring questions of identity and belonging, or experiencing relationship and communication challenges across cultures. I provide therapy in both English and Japanese.
