Great to meet you!

Hi my prospective clients,

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, TX License #62590), Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), counseling educator, and pastor. I provide individual, couples, and group counseling, as well as clinical supervision for counseling professionals. I work with individuals and couples experiencing challenges related to self-esteem, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

I have a special interest in serving Asian, Asian American, and international clients. As a bilingual counselor, I offer counseling services in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese. I also welcome LPC Associates seeking clinical supervision and professional development as they grow in their counseling careers.

My approach to therapy

My counseling approach is integrative and tailored to each client's unique needs, experiences, and goals. Drawing from Gender-Sensitive Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, I work collaboratively with clients to develop meaningful treatment goals and identify therapeutic approaches that best support their growth and well-being.

I believe that counseling is a collaborative journey built on trust, respect, self-awareness, and empowerment. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and encouraged to explore their experiences, recognize their strengths, and discover new possibilities for change.

What you can expect from me

I am passionate about helping people discover meaning, purpose, resilience, and fulfillment in their lives. I believe that every individual possesses inner strengths and resources that can serve as a foundation for growth and transformation.

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another, explore and better understand the challenges that bring you to counseling, and discuss what you hope to achieve through the counseling process. We will also review how counseling works, including the counseling structure, expectations, and the process of working together to establish meaningful goals.

Throughout our counseling journey, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood. My goal is to walk alongside you as you develop greater self-understanding, navigate life's challenges, strengthen relationships, reconnect with your inner resources, and embrace meaningful changes toward a life with greater meaning, purpose, wellness, and happiness.
