Yu-hsin Liao

As a licensed psychologist, I have experiences working with adults and couples. I specialize in anxiety, depression, family-child relations, and interpersonal relationship difficulties. I tailor my treatment approach to individual client needs and preferences. I believe therapy can alleviate pain but more importantly it also promotes growth and change.

I often use interpersonal process therapy to examine how early experiences affect client's current mood, relationships and experiences. I also apply interventions from different therapeutic approaches (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy, emotion focused therapy) to help clients with their goals for therapy.

I value developing a caring, empathic, and trusting relationship with my clients. I help clients gain insight and understanding about their relationships and personality patterns to improve their mood, relationships and quality of life.
