Yuleisis Mendez Travieso

Hi, I’m Yuleisis Mendez, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I’m passionate about creating a warm, supportive space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, sharing your experiences, and working through life’s challenges without judgment. I have experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and substance use concerns. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, using evidence-based techniques while recognizing that every person’s journey is unique. My goal is to meet you where you are and help you recognize your strengths.

In our sessions, we slow down and look at what's really happening beneath the surface: the patterns keeping things stuck, thoughts that tend to spiral, and the relationship dynamics you want to shift. I adapt what we work on to fit you rather than applying one method to everyone. Sessions are available in English and Spanish, with a culturally attuned approach so your background and values are always part of our work.

Our first session is a real conversation. We take time to get to know each other, talk through what has been weighing on you, and explore what you are hoping for. I explain how we work together, address questions about confidentiality and scheduling, and by the end you leave with a clearer sense of where we are headed and a plan we can keep adjusting as we go.
