Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Yulienny Cabrera J. She is a graduate of Wilkes-Barre University, where she received her Post-Master’s in Psychiatric Nursing. She is also a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner from South University over 5 years and a Foreign Medical Graduate with more than 15 years of experience in healthcare. I bring a unique, global perspective to my practice.

I am a dual-certified PMHNP and FNP with diverse healthcare experience . I specialize in helping adolescents and adults manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders. My goal is to blend the best of clinical science with a compassionate, human touch. Together, we will look at the whole picture—mind and body—to build a treatment plan that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

When it comes to providing psychiatric and mental health care, my approach is grounded in collaboration, evidence-based practice, and deep empathy. Mental health is complex and deeply personal; it isn't a 'one-size-fits-all' prescription. It’s an integration of biology, environment, and personal history. I believe that true wellness comes from addressing the intersection of physical health and mental clarity. By combining evidence-based medication management with a focus on lifestyle and emotional resilience, we aim for sustainable healing rather than just a temporary fix.

What you can expect from me

Taking the step to schedule your first psychiatric evaluation can feel overwhelming. Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and establish a clear understanding of your concerns, symptoms, goals, and treatment history. We will review your medical and mental health background, discuss current challenges, and explore factors that may be affecting your well-being. By the end of our first hour together, our goal isn't just a diagnostic label; it’s a shared roadmap. You will leave with a clear, collaborative treatment plan, which may include medication management, therapy recommendations, lifestyle modifications, or additional resources that can support your progress. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling lighter. You’ll have a clear, evidence-based roadmap tailored to you, the clinical support you deserve, and most importantly, the hope that healing is completely within reach.
