Great to meet you!

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), I bring a medically-grounded, whole-person perspective to mental health care. I specialize in working with adults who are dealing with anxiety — whether that shows up as relentless worry, panic, difficulty concentrating, or simply feeling stuck in your own head. As a psychiatric NP, I can offer both medication management and therapy-informed support, which means I'm able to tailor care to what will actually work for you — not a one-size-fits-all approach. I believe that reaching out for help takes real courage, and I'm committed to making sure that choice feels worth it.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — an evidence-based approach that shifts the focus from trying to silence anxious thoughts to changing your relationship with them. Rather than treating discomfort as something to eliminate, ACT helps you observe your inner experiences with more flexibility, reconnect with what matters most to you, and move forward with intention — even when anxiety is in the room. I find this approach especially meaningful for adults who feel like they've tried everything or who get caught in cycles of avoidance. We'll work together to build not just symptom relief, but a life that feels more grounded and aligned with who you want to be.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation — not a test. I'll want to hear about what's been going on for you, what's brought you here now, and what you're hoping for from our work together. We'll go through your history, current symptoms, and any past experiences with therapy or medication so I can get a full picture. I may also discuss whether medication could be a helpful part of your care, or whether we focus on therapeutic approaches alone. My goal for that first appointment is simple: that you leave feeling genuinely heard, with some clarity about what's next and confidence that you're in the right place.
