Great to meet you!

I believe that each person is unique and has their own special journey. Many times, healing involves addressing the core issues, including trauma, so that you can move forward with effective coping skills and a renewed sense of peace.

I provide a safe and welcoming space for both adults and children, and I also offer educational services for their parents. Some common challenges we can work on together include anxiety, depression, anger, grief, ADHD, chronic conditions, and trauma. I'm here to support you on your path to true healing!

My approach to therapy

In my practice, I focus on holistic and integrative care, emphasizing how lifestyle, sleep, and nutrition play a crucial role in well-being. My goal is to help you understand the connections between body, mind, and daily habits. Because true healing often takes a village.

That's why I also love collaborating with other trusted professionals, such as registered dietitians, primary care doctors, functional providers, and psychiatrists, to ensure you receive the best possible care.

Some of the other evidence-based approaches that I use to address problem areas, including trauma, involve Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

For example, CBT helps you understand how automatic thoughts or unhealthy thought patterns can influence how you feel and behave, which, in turn, can affect your experiences.

With this approach, I can help you identify negative thought patterns that may be holding you back and encourage you to reframe them so you can feel more in control of your emotions and see more positive outcomes.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm greeting and a big smile as I express how happy I am to be part of your healing journey in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, and I will conduct an assessment to better understand your needs.

Together, we will develop a treatment plan tailored to your specific goals, with objectives to help you achieve them.

Remember, you are not alone in this process; we are a team. I will encourage, support, and monitor your progress and needs throughout our time together. I recommend starting with weekly sessions to promote consistency and growth.

It's challenging to live in the world today, and sometimes you may put your needs aside to care for everyone else or struggle with multiple stressors and obstacles. As part of self-care, no matter what you've been told or negative words that may have been spoken to you, it's time to prioritize your overall health because you are valuable!

I look forward to hearing from you and working with you soon!
