Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in anxiety, depression, and executive functioning difficulties in adults. While I have only been licensed for a little less than two years, I have had six additional years of clinical training. My clinical background spans a range of populations and presentations, which informs my commitment to individualized, culturally responsive care. Clients often find my style warm and collaborative, with a focus on creating a space where they feel genuinely supported. My aim is to help each client build the emotional resilience and practical skills needed to navigate their challenges effectively.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded primarily in ACT and CBT, incorporating DBT-informed skills where helpful. I approach therapy as a collaborative process, working with clients to identify their values and goals, then developing a plan to address what's standing in the way. This often involves building concrete skills for managing difficult thoughts and emotions alongside more exploratory, values-based work. My style balances warmth with directness, offering support while also encouraging clients toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

The first session focuses on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. We'll review your history and current concerns to develop a clear clinical picture, while also giving you the opportunity to assess whether we're a good fit. By the end of the session, my goal is for you to leave with a clear sense of direction and an initial shared understanding of how we'll work together. I aim to create an environment that feels professional, respectful, and genuinely attentive to your needs.
