I have worked in the Mental Health, Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault fields, and with military personnel and their families as a Victim Advocacy Coordinator for the US military. I have worked with clients from preschool through clients in their 80's.

My approach to therapy

I use various therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoeducation, Solution Focused therapy, Reality therapy, Narrative therapy, Experiential therapy, Person Centered therapy, Existential therapy, Humanistic therapy, Expressive Art therapy, Strength Based therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Focused therapy, depending on what best suits each client's needs and goals.

The goal of therapy is to assist each client toward his or her own vision and definition of resiliency and healing. I want to give each client an opportunity to gain insight about themselves and to accept and love who they are.
