Great to meet you!

Good counseling should address the whole person — emotionally, mentally, relationally, and, when meaningful to the client, spiritually. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (MA, LPC, NCC, CAMS) with over a decade of experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, clinical assessment, and care management. I work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, anger, relationship concerns, major life and career transitions, and questions of identity, meaning, or purpose. As a Certified Anger Management Specialist, I bring both clinical expertise and genuine understanding to this often misunderstood area of care. I hold a Master of Arts in Community Counseling and bring both professional training and real-world clinical experience to every session.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, compassionate, and direct, and tailored to each client’s individual needs, strengths, and goals. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy, using practical tools to help clients better understand themselves, manage difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change. My Christian faith shapes how I approach counseling, while each client’s beliefs and goals guide our work. Faith and biblical principles can be thoughtfully integrated when desired.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to talk about what brought you to counseling, what you have been experiencing, and what you would like to change. I will take time to understand your concerns, strengths, relationships, and goals, and we will begin identifying what may be most helpful moving forward.

My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of where we can begin — and whether we are a good fit for each other.
