Great to meet you!
I'm Dr. Branson—you can call me Dr. B. I earned my PhD in Clinical Health Psychology in 2006 from Yeshiva University in New York. While working at the VA hospital in New York for 18 years, I established the VITAL Initiative (Veterans' Integration to Academic Leadership) to support student Veterans through coaching, therapy, advocacy, and a range of services. Since leaving the VA in February 2025, I've launched VITAL 2.0 to continue serving student Veterans.
In addition to my work with VITAL 2.0, I also offer private therapy for the broader population, supporting folks with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, emotional dysregulation, and simply navigating the complexities of life.
I was formerly an orchestral musician and public school teacher, holding a Masters in Education as well as in Music Performance. My diverse background lends itself to creative, out-of-the-box thinking in support of your growth. If you're interested, we can incorporate a variety of wellness practices into our work together, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, yoga, and Qi Gong.
