Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor (LPCC-S) with more than 20 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and emotional healing.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I believe healing happens when people feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.

I have extensive experience working with survivors of trauma, domestic violence, family conflict, and individuals experiencing persistent depression or anxiety. I also provide Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in collaboration with medical providers for clients who may benefit from innovative approaches to healing and personal growth.

Whether you are working through a difficult life event, relationship challenges, past trauma, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to provide a supportive space where you can gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a collaborative process where you feel supported, challenged, and empowered to create meaningful change. My approach is warm, compassionate, and practical, focusing on helping clients understand the connections between their thoughts, emotions, experiences, and behaviors.

I use an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, EMDR-informed interventions, and family systems perspectives. This allows me to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

I specialize in helping individuals heal from trauma, manage anxiety and depression, improve relationships, navigate life transitions, and develop healthier coping strategies. For clients struggling with treatment-resistant depression, trauma, or feeling stuck despite previous therapy, I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in collaboration with medical providers.

Above all, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can gain insight, build resilience, and move toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss your current concerns, relevant life experiences, personal strengths, and what you hope to achieve through the counseling process. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether I am a good fit for your needs.

I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Together, we will begin identifying your goals, exploring factors that may be contributing to your challenges, and developing a plan to help you move forward.

By the end of the first session, most clients leave with a better understanding of their concerns, a clearer direction for treatment, and hope that meaningful change is possible.
