Great to meet you!

My name is Yvette Ramirez, and I am a licensed professional counselor. I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I continued my education at Capella University and graduated with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling. My goal is to help you cope with your emotions and get you feeling better about your life through the different therapies I have learned through the years of my career.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am trained and certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in the State of Texas teaching coping skills and how to challenge negative thought. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprogramming to help those who have lived through a traumatic event that is causing distress in their lives, or clients who endure distress they find difficult to handle. I have worked with individuals, couples and families, children, adolescents, and teenagers for over 10 years, both online and in person.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect that I will listen, get to know you, what you are going through, and always leave you with a coping skill you can apply to your every day life to help you with your emotions.
