Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) I’ve spent 19 years practicing in various clinical settings including jails, courts, psychiatric & pediatric hospitals, and Veterans Affairs working to help people to identify sources of their distress and develop solutions. My practice has had a strong focus on psychosocial assessment and treatment planning for ages 14 and up with individuals, couples, or families.

My approach to therapy

Depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, family dysfunction, intimacy, and codependency, are the focus of my practice with adults, teens, and families. I actively listen without judgement. With a solution focused approach, we can evaluate where we are stuck in life, how it may help and harm us, and if and how we are ready to make a change. I aim to empower clients to take the lead in the direction of their therapy using my experience as resource to meet their own healthy life goals.

What you can expect from me

Life brings its blessings and its challenges that are best met with thoughtfulness and compassion to ourselves and those we cherish. I want to hear what has brought you to this moment of seeking therapy and what you hope to get out of the experience. If you're unsure that's okay. That's a perfect place to begin. At the end of the first session, we'll know if I can be of use to you and if feel that same. Let’s take begin wherever you are ready to begin on your journey.
