Great to meet you!

For me, helping others has always been deeply personal. I believe every person deserves to feel heard, seen, and understood. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston–Clear Lake. I enjoy working with individuals navigating chronic pain or illness, adjustment challenges, and caregiver burnout. I bring a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy and strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and respected as we work together toward meaningful and realistic goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs, experiences, and stage of life. I draw from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Expressive Arts to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns while building effective coping strategies. I work with individuals of all ages and strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves. Together, we explore goals, strengths, and challenges in a way that feels empowering and meaningful.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space where your story and concerns are heard and respected. We will focus on understanding what brings you to therapy, your goals, and what has or hasn’t helped in the past. The goal with my clients is to leave the first session feeling with more clarity, a sense of being understood, and some calm—along with appreciation for the effort it takes to seek support.
