Great to meet you!

Greetings! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Board Certified–TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH), Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), Certified Anger Management Specialist II, and certified GA school counselor. My educational framework consists of a B.S. Degree in Secondary Education, M.Ed. Degree in Administration & Supervision, M.Ed. Degree in School Counseling, and Doctorate in Education Degree in Organizational Leadership. I further underwent studies in 2018 at Capella University as a part of their Psychology Program.

My approach to therapy

I tailor my approach to each individual’s unique needs and utilize a combination of humanistic & cognitive therapies to assist my clients in achieving balance and resolving conflicts.

As an educator of over 25 years, I work with children from culturally diverse backgrounds with varied abilities & needs, including providing case management services. I specifically lend extensive expertise in working with children with special needs and those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief.

What you can expect from me

During the initial visit, we will take some time to get to know one another. We will also talk about the issues you’d like to address collectively together in your treatment, goals for therapy, and expectations to foster a shared understanding.

Above all, you should expect a therapeutic environment that is safe, nonjudgmental, and empathetic where you can feel comfortable to open up about your thoughts, emotions, and/or experiences.
