Great to meet you!

If your child is struggling, your teenager has shut down, or you're trying to hold your family together while quietly carrying your own stress or grief, you don't have to figure this out alone. For 23 years, I've worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor and I've assisted parents, teens and children in various settings. I've worked in school systems, juvenile probation departments, foster care systems, hospitals, and disaster recovery, so very little surprises me. I meet every family with genuine care for where they are right now.

My approach to therapy

Somatic Experiencing is central to my work. Rather than focusing only on what you think or say, we also pay attention to what's happening in your body when stress or pain shows up. This helps your nervous system process what it couldn't in the moment something hard happened. For children, play therapy creates space to work through feelings without needing the "right words." For parents, I build in practical training and psychoeducation so you leave sessions with tools you can actually use at home, not just insight from our time together.

What you can expect from me

Our first meeting is yours. Some people arrive with a list of questions; others just need to talk. We'll get to know each other, and I'll ask what's brought you in and what you want to feel differently about. By the end, we'll have the shape of a plan together. The decision to come in is already the hard part. I'll meet you wherever you are from there.
