Great to meet you!

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I provide holistic, solution-focused care for adults navigating a wide range of mental health concerns. My approach is rooted in respect for each person’s dignity and guided by the enduring principles of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness. Treatment is individualized and evidence-based, integrating thoughtful medication management, supportive therapy, and attention to lifestyle factors to help patients move toward greater stability and overall well-being.

My nursing career began in 2019 and includes experience across inpatient, outpatient, residential, and acute psychiatric settings. I currently treat depression, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, bipolar-spectrum disorders, ADHD, and sleep concerns. As an Army wife and mother of five adult children (seven amazing grandchildren), I am passionate about continued service and bringing steady, compassionate support to the people I serve.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, structured, and individualized. Treatment begins with developing a clear understanding of symptoms, history, and current stressors, followed by a practical, personalized plan. Medications are used thoughtfully, with close monitoring and open communication to support both safety and effectiveness.

Personal values, beliefs, and sources of meaning are respected and can be incorporated into care when important to the individual. My goal is not only symptom relief, but also helping people feel more stable, capable, and able to move forward with renewed hope.

This approach works especially well with adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck and are seeking steady, practical support. Many are balancing work, family responsibilities, and ongoing stress while managing anxiety, depression, mood changes, attention difficulties, trauma-related symptoms, or sleep concerns. Individuals who value a respectful, collaborative process and gradual, meaningful progress tend to do well in this setting.

What you can expect from me

The first visit is a supportive conversation about current concerns, history, and goals for care. A comprehensive assessment helps to create a clear understanding of what support will be most helpful.

If medication is considered, options are discussed openly, including benefits and possible side effects. Follow-up visits focus on progress, adjustments, and practical strategies for stability in daily life. Care is collaborative, paced thoughtfully, and always intended to create a hopeful, healthy and happy future. Looking forward to walking along side you in your mental health journey!
