Great to meet you!

You've been carrying something heavy for a long time, maybe managing it more than actually healing from it. I work with adults and seniors facing anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and substance use, often alongside grief, trauma, or complicated family dynamics. I'm fluent in English and Spanish, and as a first generation Puerto Rican American, I bring real appreciation for cultural identity to the people I work with. My clients come from a wide range of backgrounds, and I meet each person where they are.

My approach to therapy

Together we'll work on shifting the thought patterns and old survival habits that trauma and anxiety leave behind, so you can respond to life instead of just getting through it. I had my own experience with trauma, and I found real healing later in life, which is part of why I believe healing is always possible no matter when you start. That belief shapes how I show up, not as someone who read about trauma, but as someone who has lived through it and came out the other side. I go deep with clients navigating trauma, PTSD, and anxiety, and I also support people working through substance use recovery with practical tools they can actually use outside our sessions. Clients who do well with me are usually ready to look honestly at old patterns, even when that's uncomfortable, and want a therapist who will walk alongside them rather than hand them a worksheet.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simple. I'll introduce myself, get to know you, and ask a few questions about how you've been sleeping, feeling, and coping day to day, along with anything from your past that feels relevant. There's no pressure to have the right words ready going in. If any of this sounds like you, I'd love to talk. Reach out whenever you're ready, I'll be here.
