Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC) in North Carolina and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I earned my Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton, a CACREP-accredited program. Over the past several years, I have had the opportunity to work with clients in a variety of settings, including community mental health, private practice, school-based counseling, rehabilitation services, and higher education.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and grounded primarily in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I believe that therapy is not about eliminating every difficult thought or feeling, but about learning how to respond to those experiences in healthier and more effective ways.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin creating a foundation for our work together. We will discuss what brings you to counseling, the challenges you are currently experiencing, and what you hope to gain from therapy.
