Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Zachary Korinek. I am born and raised in Reno Nevada. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology and Sociology as well as a Masters in Clinical counseling from University of Nevada, Reno. I work with all types of client but I tend to specialize in anger, anxiety, suicidality, and trauma. I have experience with crisis work and am not afraid of intensity.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is not one size fits all so I draw on a range of theoretical orientations to provide an eclectic approach to therapy. I come from a strengths perspective meaning I focus on building strengths rather than emphasizing weakness.

Ive worked with a wide range of people but those with anxiety, anger, and suicidal ideation tend to find their way to me.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be about getting to know each other. I will provide a basic assessment to help me gather details of your life so we can get to the root of why you are seeking services. We will also go over the limits of confidentiality and discuss the ins and outs of therapy.
