I hold an M.S. in Counseling from the University of Vermont, a Vermont LCMHC license and a Florida telehealth registration. I have been meeting with clients for individual therapy for over four years. The people I work with come to therapy with a range of concerns — including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, and the experience of feeling 'stuck' without quite knowing why. I view the therapeutic relationship as central to the work.
My approach is grounded in careful listening and curiosity. I view my clients as whole individuals with complex inner worlds and unique life experiences. A collaborative relationship rooted in compassion, respect and nonjudgment serves as our foundation. The therapeutic process supports greater self-understanding and freedom of choice.
The first session is an opportunity for you to begin telling your story. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what your goals are, and what feels important to share at the start. From there, we can explore what therapy offers you and begin to establish a foundation for the path ahead.
