Dr. Zachary Poliacoff

In training I won two teaching awards and published several papers on antidepressants. During training I worked on several specialized services, including several years at the VA's outpatient PTSD program treating combat veteran's trauma. I also spent time working at USF's Silver Child Development Center, one of the nation's premier research centers for ADHD and OCD, and trained under the former head of Loma Linda's treatment resistant depression clinic. I specialize in treating trauma, ADHD, OCD, and anxiety, though I have plenty of experience treating all manner of issues including substance use and depression.

For part of each week I also work for NYU in Bellevue's emergency psychiatry department, seeing patients in crisis and teaching future psychiatrists. In my free time I like to cook, make pottery, and read.
