Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Zach, and I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary’s CACREP accredited program. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado, and I work largely with LGBTQ+ individuals, specializing in religious trauma and spirituality, existential distress, eating disorders and body image, relationship issues, and grief and loss.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I believe deeply in the healing power of connection and relationship. While I draw from numerous therapeutic modalities that honor mind, body, and spirit, my core philosophy takes a client-centered approach that emphasizes empathy, compassion, curiosity, and unconditional positive regard. My top priority is establishing trust, security, and safety within our therapeutic relationship.

What you can expect from me

Within the container of our relationship, I will offer support, guidance, and an unwavering sense of hope as we explore your unique goals and desires, the pain and behaviors that may be holding you back, and how to create satisfying relationships, both with others and yourself. Above all, our sessions are time to focus on you, and as such, I strongly encourage clients to hold a sense of ownership and empowerment in their work.
