Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I take a systemic or relational approach to therapy. Whether in individual or couples therapy, I look at relationships and how they affect you and your mental health. I typically work with adult clients ages 21-50, but have a decade's worth of experience working with adolescents (12-18). Most of my clients seek therapy due to anxiety, depression, or relational issues and have had success in managing the stressors they bring. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, social anxiety, family and relationship conflicts, life transitions, low self-esteem, or general burnout I believe you can overcome these challenges.

My approach to therapy

I use a systemic approach that incorporates different models to best fit my client’s needs. I recognizes that every person, family, and couple have their own unique struggles and experiences and my goal is to meet you where you are in your mental health journey. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for all clients to explore the concerns that bring them to therapy while still challenging them to be the best they can be.

What you can expect from me

My first session is always an introductory session where I will ask general questions about you, your mental health history, and your goals for therapy. I structure my sessions to be conversational and collaborative with a warm and inviting environment and I will use humor or challenge my clients when appropriate. You are the expert in your life, so you will set the pace as we progress through your therapy journey to work on and accomplish your personal goals.
