Great to meet you!

I have significant experience as a clinical Social Worker in working with adolescents and adults with primarily Depression, Anxiety and Loss and Grief with additional experience in many other areas. I have worked in the field of mental health and healthcare for the past 15 years and have worked with families, children, adults, schools, hospitals, community services, legal counsel, police/EMS services and Government agencies.

My approach to therapy

I see each client as a competent individual that wants to improve their lives and has the knowledge and agency to do so with a little outside help. We will work collaboratively to explore your challenges at your pace with gentle challenging in each session so you feel not only heard but that our time together was well spent. I am as straightforward as they come and always welcome any concerns or feedback that you may have about our sessions. No subject is taboo.

What you can expect from me

I primarily use Solution-Focused therapy, DBT techniques, Mindfulness strategies and Motivational Interviewing; all with a trauma-informed lens. I am currently working with ages 10 and up via online telehealth sessions and currently not seeing couples, families and am not currently running groups. I have some after hours/evening availability during the week and also have some weekend availability as well so we can always find a time to meet.
