Great to meet you!

Adults across the lifespan come to my practice navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, work stress, relationship challenges, and questions of identity or cultural belonging. Many are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain internally. I also specialize in working with immigrants and individuals exploring multicultural identity. Together, we create a space to slow down, make sense of emotional experiences, understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and build resilience and clarity for what comes next.

I specialize in anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, and cultural identity exploration. My work integrates CBT, mindfulness, person-centered therapy, and family systems theory, grounded in cultural humility. I help clients build insight, coping skills, and meaningful, lasting change.

You don’t have to carry everything alone. Therapy is a space where you can feel seen, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we can explore what feels heavy, uncover deeper patterns, and move toward greater clarity and ease. If you’re ready for change, I invite you to take that next step toward yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. As both a practicing clinician and an Assistant Professor of Counseling, I bring together real-world clinical experience with current research and best practices. Teaching and supervising counselors-in-training keeps me engaged with the latest developments in the field while continually strengthening my own clinical skills.

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore challenges, build on their strengths, and develop practical tools for lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to therapy. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and what you hope to achieve through counseling. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about my approach and determine whether we're a good fit.

My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we'll begin identifying your goals and develop a plan that reflects your unique needs, helping you leave the session with a clearer understanding of the therapeutic process and the direction we'll take together.
