Great to meet you!

I am a counselor who likes to focus on the systemic as well. I want to help the whole person. I received my Masters from the University of Pennsylvania and I currently practice in Pennsylvania and Virginia. I focus mainly on trauma, substance use, depression, and anxiety. I have experience working with military populations, people of color, and the LGBTQ community.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an eclectic approach and try to meet my clients where they are. I mostly use cognitive behavioral therapy as a theory to understand the development of mental health issues, but I use multiple techniques to address them. That includes things like mindfulness.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to work to build a strong therapeutic relationship and ask you questions to get to know you and your personal goals. I might use some movie or TV quotes to get my point across, and I'll try to meet you where you are.
