Great to meet you!

I am an Art Therapist and have worked with persons struggling with anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) for over 15 years. I graduated from Nazareth College with a Masters of Science supported with credits and internship hours from Pratt Institute. I am trained in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and coping skills development. I have had the opportunity to work with many diverse populations in different work settings, including the united states military.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is to lead with empathy and understanding first. Therapy is a gradual process with little rewards along the journey; however, rewards are not always received immediately. If the client is willing to take the risk, I am eager to walk alongside them on the journey.

What you can expect from me

Art therapy does not always get the same exposure or recognition as other mental health fields, so many clients do not know what to expect when they come to a session. Clients will have a new understanding of how art can be used therapeutically to help them cope with day-to-day stressors.
