I have over 25 years of experience in the fields of education and counseling. I have worked as a teacher, school principal, and behavioral health counselor for children, adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families. I have earned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Additionally, I have a Doctorate Degree in Community Care and Counseling with a concentration in Traumatology.
I utilize the following evidence-based therapy approaches in counseling: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, Family Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness.
I provide a safe and supportive therapy space where clients can explore thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and challenges. I work with clients by helping them to establish goals, reflect on their progress, gain clarity, and to develop strategies to achieve personal resilience.
