Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Zaneb! I'm a licensed mental health therapist who believes therapy should be a place where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. I earned my bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Sociology and my Master's in Social Work from The Ohio State University, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based mental health care.

Over the past several years, I've had the privilege of working with thousands of individuals from diverse backgrounds. I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, self-esteem, stress, relationship challenges, and cultural identity. As someone who understands the pressure of balancing high expectations, perfectionism, and multiple roles, I strive to create a space where you don't have to have everything figured out before asking for help.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique needs. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based techniques to help you better understand yourself and build lasting change.

My style is warm, empowering, direct, and genuinely curious. I'll validate your experiences while also helping you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I believe growth happens when insight is paired with action, so I want every session to leave you with greater clarity, practical tools, and confidence in your ability to move forward.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about getting to know you. I'll take time to understand your story, what's bringing you to therapy, what's already working, and what you'd like your life to look like moving forward. Together, we'll identify your goals and create a plan that feels realistic and personalized.

You don't need to prepare the "perfect" story or know exactly where to start. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling comfortable, understood, and hopeful about the work we'll do together. Therapy is a partnership, and we'll move at a pace that feels right for you while working toward meaningful, lasting change.
