Great to meet you!

Hi there, and welcome. I know that looking for a therapist can feel like a big step, so I'm glad you're here. I became a Licensed Professional Counselor because I have a deep desire to give people something we all deserve: someone we can truly trust and talk to without fear of judgment.

I am deeply passionate about creating a safe, affirming space for diverse cultures and populations, particularly within the BIPOC community. Whether you are dealing with daily anxiety, overwhelming stress, or distress from life's challenges, my goal is to provide an environment where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you work toward your personal goals.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in trauma therapy, but I also know that no two people are exactly alike. Because of this, I tailor my approach to your unique needs. Instead of just listing clinical methods, here is how we will actually work together to help you heal:

  • Processing Trauma (EMDR): If you are carrying the weight of past trauma, we will use proven methods to help your brain process and heal from those painful memories so they stop interrupting your present life.
  • Reframing Thoughts (CBT & REBT): We will work as a team to identify and change the unhelpful or negative thought patterns that might be fueling your anxiety or stress.
  • Play Therapy: For younger clients, I use play—a child’s natural language—to help them safely express big emotions and build healthy coping skills.

What you can expect from me

Whether you are looking for support during a tough season or seeking to completely change your life's direction, I am here to help.

In our first session, my main focus is simply getting to know you. We will take things at your pace, exploring your thoughts and feelings in the present moment. You can always expect a warm, supportive environment where we work as a collaborative team to find real, practical solutions that you can take with you into your everyday life. I consider it a privilege to join you on your journey toward healing, growth, and empowerment.
