Great to meet you!

Congratulations on taking the courageous first step toward mental wellness. I believe quality care begins with feeling safe, respected, and free from judgment. I approach each person with genuine care and patience, meeting you where you are. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide compassionate, individualized care to adolescents, adults, and seniors experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, substance use disorders, and other mental health concerns. I view our work as a collaborative partnership, moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My role is to listen, help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, and offer practical tools and insights to support meaningful, lasting change. Most importantly, I want you to feel seen, heard, understood, and empowered throughout your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is grounded in creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. Transformative healing and growth begin with genuine connection. I focus on building a trusting relationship where you feel heard and understood. I use evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and motivational techniques, while recognizing that every person’s needs and experiences are unique. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing, identify your needs, and develop a personalized approach that aligns with your goals, values, and pace. My goal is to provide the support and guidance you need to become the best version of yourself.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity to get to know one another and create a foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about what led you to seek care, your experiences, and what you hope to gain from treatment. There’s no need to have it all figured out, and there’s no pressure to share anything you’re not ready to discuss. I’ll ask questions to understand your background and current concerns, while giving you space to get a sense of my approach and whether we’re a good fit. I believe therapy is a collaborative process; your comfort and trust are important to me. By the end of our session, we’ll identify your goals and create a treatment plan that supports your well-being. My intention is for you to leave feeling hopeful about the journey ahead.
