Great to meet you!

As a first-generation Pakistani American therapist, I recognize how cultural and systemic stigma can impact self-worth, access to care, and how we nurture ourselves. Inner child and CBT work are my key modalities.

My approach to therapy

Given the fast-paced stresses of day-to-day life, I feel that the therapy room should be a place that is less so about structure and to-do's and more about you in the driver's seat. I aim to facilitate a warm, safe space where gradually we can explore what has been keeping you stuck, patterns that may have carried over from childhood, and equip you with fresh resources and tools as you see yourself from a different, maybe even more compassionate angle.

What you can expect from me

Progress with my clients can manifest as gradual non-linear breaking of patterns, executing of new coping tools, and self-trust being built on the realization of one's own strengths. I enjoy working with clients who are curious, proactive, and investigative when it comes to their emotions.
