Great to meet you!

I am a psychiatrist who earned a medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. After completing my residency training in New York, I returned home to New Jersey to serve the community that helped shape me both personally and professionally.

I treat adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, mood disorders, stress-related conditions, and life transitions. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard and respected.

I believe that seeking help is a sign of strength, and I am committed to helping each patient develop a treatment plan that aligns with their unique needs, goals, and values.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative and patient-centered. I view treatment as a partnership, where patients and I work together to make informed decisions about their care. I believe that the best outcomes occur when patients are actively engaged in the treatment process and feel empowered to participate in decisions regarding medications, lifestyle changes, and overall wellness.

I take time to understand each patient’s experiences, concerns, and goals before developing an individualized treatment plan. My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric care with open communication, education, and mutual respect. I strive to create a space where patients feel comfortable asking questions, expressing concerns, and taking an active role in their mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to treatment. I will ask questions about your current symptoms, personal history, medical background, and treatment goals to gain a comprehensive understanding of your needs.

My goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming environment where you feel heard and understood. By the end of the session, we will review my recommendations, discuss potential treatment options, and develop a plan together that reflects your goals and priorities. You can expect a thoughtful, collaborative conversation focused on helping you take meaningful steps toward improved mental health and well-being.
