Greetings, my name is Zekecia Bennett, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am a Florida native with over fifteen years of experience in social work. Over the years, I have had the pleasure to work with individuals, couples, and groups, with ages ranging from adolescences to older adults. I also have experience working in multiple settings such as non-profit/for-profit agencies, out-patient treatment centers, and foster care.
I love the therapeutic process and have a strong desire to empower others by enhancing their well-being through psychotherapy. As a licensed clinical social worker, I believe that compassion, empowerment, and respect for each other will act as a catalyst for change. I utilize different evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing just to name a few.
Each session creates a safe space for clients to share their feelings and thoughts, while working on a set goal of improving their well-being.
