Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and move toward healthier, more meaningful living. I hold a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, depression, anger management, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

I understand that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences. I strive to ensure that every client feels heard, respected, and empowered as we work together to create meaningful change.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that unhelpful thoughts and behaviors can be understood and transformed. With compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practices, I walk alongside my clients as they build resilience, develop new coping skills, and progress toward their personal goals.

If you are ready to begin a journey of healing and growth, I am here to support you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and strength-based approaches—to help clients understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck and develop healthier, more effective ways to cope. I believe in creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their emotions, gain insight, and build on their existing strengths. Together, we work to shift unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, foster resilience, and empower you to move toward the goals and life you desire.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable and supported as we get to know each other. We’ll start by discussing what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain from our work together, and any questions or concerns you may have. I’ll gather some background information at a pace that feels right for you, and we’ll begin identifying your goals for treatment. This session is also a chance for you to get a sense of my style, ask anything you’re wondering about, and decide if this feels like a good fit. Above all, you can expect a calm, respectful space where you are heard, validated, and welcomed exactly as you are.
