Defne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Master's and Bachelor's degree in social work from Colorado State University. I specialize in working with adults, seniors and families; and has over 20 years experience in the field. Areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, grief, and family discord. I am a a Reiki Master and practitioner. Have two adult children and loves spending time in nature, hiking and cooking.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My experience ranges from family and behavioral therapy within the home, community settings, and inpatient hospitalizations. I work from a holistic and strength-based approach; believes in the mind, body, and soul connection. I use Behavioral Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and Solution Focused Therapy.
