Great to meet you!

Hi, welcome! I know that reaching out for support can take courage, and I want you to know that you do not have to walk through life's challenges alone. My name is Zipporah/Zippy and I am an LCSW. I was born and raised in Kenya and then

primarily came to the USA to attend college. During that time, I met my husband., We have two daughters and a son together. I am currently pursuing my doctoral degree

in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University.

My approach to therapy

My hope is to create a safe, caring, and respectful space where you feel heard, valued, and understood. I approach therapy with compassion, cultural humility, and a deep respect for each person’s story. Together, we can explore the challenges you are facing, build on your strengths, and work toward healing, growth, and greater well-being at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and respectful space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace. My goal is to help you feel safe, heard, and understood. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you may be facing, and what you hope to gain from our time together. You do not need to have everything figured out before you come—our first meeting is simply a place to begin.
