Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a dual-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), with over nine years of experience as a high-risk labor and delivery nurse. I earned my MBA in 2010, followed by my MSN in 2017, my FNP-C in 2022, and now my PMHNP-BC, which has allowed me to combine clinical expertise with a strong foundation in leadership and holistic care. My background gives me a deep understanding of the physical and emotional complexities women face during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. I am passionate about providing compassionate, culturally responsive mental health care to adults, with a focus on supporting women, perinatal and postpartum clients, and individuals from diverse backgrounds. My mission is to serve the underserved and be an advocate for those who feel they have no voice. I strive to create a safe, inclusive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to take an active role in their healing. Through a personalized, holistic approach—including medication management, therapy, and lifestyle interventions—I aim to help clients build resilience, find balance, and experience meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

My approach to therapy

I approach care with openness, honesty, and deep respect. I show up with curiosity, not assumptions—ready to listen, ask questions, and truly understand what you need. There’s no judgment here, just a commitment to seeing the whole you and working together toward what healing looks like for you.

I believe care works best when it’s real, collaborative, and rooted in trust. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, affirmed, and supported every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where we begin by getting to know each other. I’ll take time to learn about your mental health history, current concerns, life experiences, and goals for care. Because I take a holistic approach, we’ll also explore your overall health—including physical, emotional, and social factors that may be impacting your well-being. We’ll review any symptoms you’re experiencing, your medical background, and discuss what you hope to gain from our work together—whether that includes therapy, medication management, or both. I approach this first session as a conversation, not an interrogation. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and understood as we begin building a trusting relationship that lays the foundation for healing.
